After years of being a drysta Isaac has become very submissive and accepted the Adveni rule. He's adjusted to survive. Ask him and he will always tell you that he likes the place where he is now and that he's grateful for how generous his owner is and that he's grateful for the Adveni and their presence in Adlai and the world. That said, Isaac is neither pro nor anti Adveni. He just wants to live his life and stay out of the ongoing fight between Adveni and humans but given his situation he'll never talk badly about the Adveni, and particularly not his owner.
Much of how Isaac acts in public is based on his instincts. He's always been good at reading the atmosphere when he enters a room and it's easy for him to tell whether or not others are in a hostile mood. Isaac is not a brave person, and in some aspects he's very focused on his own well-being, so even if he sees something done wrong to another person there is a high chance he wouldn't have the guts to speak up or do anything to stop it. Bluntly put: he's a coward. He's aware of it, and he hates it.
One on one, you'll see that Isaac is a sweet guy and he has a really gentle heart. He'll always submit to what other wants rather than putting his own opinion out there. Another thing about Isaac is that he doesn't get a lot of free time (what with having to keep the house clean and keep his owner satisfied,) but he really enjoys the moments when he's able to just relax, hang out and be an 18 year old again.

Name of Sect:
Isaac grew up as one of three children in the Thorne family. His father was an upstanding lawyer in the city where they lived and his mother a judge. They met through a case that his mother, Brenda, was reviewing and once the case was closed and the murderer who'd been standing on trial convicted, Steven Thorne asked Brenda out for dinner. They met several more times after that, slowly falling in love. A couple of years later they married and had their first child. They got two more after that.
Isaac, being the youngest in the family, was gullible and sweet even at the baby stage. He lived up to the term "baby brother" and a lot of the time his siblings didn't mind playing with him or letting him tag along when they were going to the playground with friends of their own age. Always following his siblings wherever they went, and otherwise running around after his mother whenever she was home, Isaac never really learned to stand on his own feet.
The years passed and as Isaac grew older his teachers started growing concerned about how hard it was for Isaac to keep up with the others in school. He kept falling behind and it took him a very long time to learn new things, particularly when it came to math. After talking it through, Brenda and Steven decided to hire a tutor that helped Isaac with his homework after school. Slowly his grades started to improve.
The Adveni invaded not long after Isaac took his high school degree. He never really understood what happened but one moment he was sitting at the dinner table at home, telling his parents about what school he wanted to attend next year and in the next moment they took the car and drove to his aunt's house where they hid out while the war took place.
Once the dust subsided, and with it the bloodshed and the killings, Isaac and his family were caught by the Adveni. Without even knowing that they had to register, the family was separated and sold at a drysta yard. Isaac was quickly picked up by an Adveni who brought him back to Adlai. He was locked into the house, left to do the chores and prepare the Adveni's meal. Isaac was alone in the house with the Adveni for what felt like the longest time when suddenly his owner bought another drysta.
Isaac quickly learned the dark haired drysta's name: Jacob Stone.
The next half year, Isaac got to know Jacob fairly well and he was quite happy about having someone to talk to. That happiness was quickly ripped away when their owner met up with an old friend. Isaac was horrified to see his friend be abused by the two Adveni, but did nothing to stop it. Rather than extend a hand to try and help, he started to cower and avoid talking to Jacob, afraid that their owner would get an idea and give him the same treatment.
The violence escalated. Ashamed of his behavior, Isaac was barely able to look at Jacob anymore. Not long after watching as Jacob received a Nsiloq did the other drysta run away. Isaac never saw him again but he was told by their owner that Jacob had died, because he didn't want to admit that he'd let his toy escape. After a couple of weeks Isaac's owner and his friend started to abuse him now that Jacob was out of the picture.
He cried out the first times, continously asking what he'd done wrong, but with time his voice disappeared and he slowly adjusted to the abuse. Accepted it. At some point he even started to blame himself for it, telling himself that he deserved it and that his owner was just looking after him.
