- Slightly lacking in moralsGeneral Personality:
Spencer is a guy who knows what he wants, and he knows how to get it. He's not book smart, but his instincts are usually pretty good, even if it means bending a few of the more traditional moral standards to get it. He enjoys being the centre of attention and is a real people person.
He doesn't have a particular problem with the Adveni. Yeah, what they did was shit, but in the end, if you can learn to live with it, life is better off, and he wants his life to be one of those in the better off. That's why he went to the Cartel instead of a group like the Eighth. He had no intention of dying for anyone or any set of ideals, he'd rather look out for himself. Even though he is a member of the Cartel, he wouldn't protect them if it meant his own skin.
Survival is the aim of the game, and Spencer, if nothing else, knows how to survive.

Spencer Jukes grew up in London, England. His family were relatively normal. White collar jobs, decent schools, just enough money for a holiday ever summer. The normal stuff.
Spencer did alright in school. He was naturally quite bright, but he wasn't all that driven for school work. Relatively popular, by the age of the sixteen, he was far more interested in hanging out with his friends than with his schoolwork. Still, his parents were insistent that their son receive a good education, so with an offer to study media at university, he went.
However, without the influence of his family, Spencer's grades slowly slipped. He was legally old enough to drink, and parties became all he thought about. 'Jukesy' as he was known around campus, became known to throw the best parties. He even managed to score something more exciting for some of his friends.
He began missing lectures, not able to get up in the morning after the rager the night before, and just before the end of his second year, Spencer was kicked off his course.
Spencer was twenty years old, back at home, and with a reputation for throwing awesome parties. So, he did what came naturally. He got a job in a club. He started out as a barman, but within the year, he was organising their biggest party nights for the students in London. He got a place of his own, and his job became his life.
And yes, he was still picking up party favours for the special people.
In the summer of 2011, Spencer came to Adlai on a temporary work visa. A club owner had seen his nights in action and wanted to set up some things for a club he'd just opened in the city, Crisco.
With a year's visa to help set up, Spencer realised that this was the life. Traveling and partying, getting new venues off the ground. Even without his contacts back in London, he settled in fast, and within the month, JukeBox nights had put Crisco on the map in the city.
Then... a few months before his visa was going to expire, the Adveni arrived. Everything Jukes knew was turned upside down. He had no contact with his family after the war was over, the owner of Crisco was thrown out, and the Adveni took over, firing every human employee.
Spencer was used to doing what he needed to to survive, and with some party favours he'd gotten for friends, he managed to keep himself in cash by selling to junkies. Within a few months, he'd partnered up with the Chemical Cartel, where he's been ever since.
